This lamp made of aluminum, glass and a halogen light has a somewhat complex base of various aluminum cylinders and other structures to keep it in place. The base is divisible, the bottom part (with the black rubber suspension) can be removed if desired
There is a separate dimmer (see the round aluminum object to the right behind the lamp in the photo above) with which it can steplessly be set to different brightness levels.
Just below the lamp part there is a hinge, through which the upper part can be brought into a (slightly) inclined position, see photos.
